LANDSCAPE DESIGN AGREEMENT


SUMMARY

DESIGN DETAIL:

We hereby propose to prepare a full scale 2 Dimensional CAD design presented as a blueprint with full story board, which shall allow you and your contractors a clear understanding of the total proposed project. All items, materials and their placement shall be displayed and specifically indicated for easy installation.


DETAILS NOT INCLUDED:
  • 3 Dimensional Design
  • Lighting detail
  • Irrigation detail
  • Structural Engineering
  • Pool Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
ADDITIONAL MODIFICATIONS OR LABOR IF REQUIRED
$150.00 / Hourly Rate / Changes and Modifications
  • Upon your request, changes/modifications to the original scope of work i.e. relocating pool, driveway, etc. may be subject to our hourly rate.
$150.00 / Hourly Rate / Project site meetings
  • (1) One on location meeting is included during the design process. Any additional requested meetings shall be subject to our hourly rate.
  • Material supply location meetings
    • All meetings to and from these locations shall be subject to our hourly rate, travel and toll expenses.
DESIGN OPERATING PROCEDURE
STEP BY STEP
  1. Collect design payment
  2. Collect images of the current property status and desired materials to be used by homeowner
  3. Collect a PDF Survey of the property to be improved.
    • Some counties may require surveys to be no more than 3 years old to obtain permits. In which case you will need to furnish us with one prior to submitting for permits.
  4. Schedule call to discuss desired improvements with client
  5. Prepare an initial “Hard” design layout and schedule review
    • This preliminary design shall be imposed on your survey to allow you an idea of design configuration.
    • This meeting shall be recorded to ensure quality and performance.
    • Discuss any initial “Hard” changes or modifications to move forward.
  6. Prepare final CAD design with “soft” improvements and schedule Online review
    • This design shall be ready for approval to create final CAD drawings
    • This meeting shall be recorded to ensure quality and performance.
    • Discuss any “Soft” changes necessary
  7. Make final modifications and schedule online design review
    • Any and all modifications shall be made one time and in accordance with your requests.
    • Any additional changes or modifications after this tep shall be subject to our hourly rate.
ITEMS AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FROM THE HOMEOWNER:
  • Non-refundable design payment
  • Furnish property surveys of properties to be renovated
  • Furnish official documents, HOA information and/or requirements when applicable
  • Inspirational photos to be considered in design (uploaded to our software)


TOTALSCAPE BUILD PORTION OF THE PROJECT

PROPOSAL TO PERFORM THE WORK WE DESIGN
(All proposals shall be prepared once the final design is approved)
  • Proposal process:
    • Based on your design we shall prepare an overall projected cost estimate then schedule an online budget meeting with you to review.
    • Once a final budget is reached and all details of products are selected, a fully outlined proposal shall be prepared.
DESIGN CREDIT OFFER (Valid only if all work that is included in the finished design is completed by us)
TotalScape Design shall return $1,000.00 spent over $50,000.00 if we are hired to build the entire project we design. Upon completion of the entire project, the credit shall be issued to the property owner only after a history of timely payments as outlined in the Project contract.



TERMS AND CONDITIONS

$1,500.00 Total Design Cost due to start work

3D DESIGN: (Optional) If a 3D design is desired, please add $500 to your initial deposit. Your 3D design can be expected with your final design presentation and shall follow the same added cost guidelines as the 2D CAD Design.
ADDED COSTS ACCRUED: All added costs accrued during the design phase shall be due upon completion. However, these fees may be waived if hired as described above.
FINAL DESIGN PAYMENT: Any added fees accrued during the design process shall be paid prior to final design delivery.
FINAL DESIGN DELIVERY: Upon receipt of the final payment, the design shall be completed and delivered VIA Email.

NOTE: Any changes or modifications requested after the final design has been approved shall be completed according to our hourly rate and shall be paid prior to an online review.



TIMELINE

(Timeline starts upon a fully executed contract & upon receipt of survey)
  1. Initial draft can be expected for online review within 7-10 days (unless otherwise agreed or without unexpected delay)
    • First design review can be expected within 7-10 days of initial review unless otherwise discussed.
  2. Final design delivery can be expected within 7-10 days of final footprint approval unless otherwise discussed.
CLIENT TIMELINE:
In order to move the process along, we require your response to all design presentations within 7 days of email delivery. No response will indicate that you are satisfied with the last presentation and the balance of this agreement shall be due immediately.



AGREEMENT

Authorized Signatures
The signature of an authorized person from both parties indicates consent to the terms and conditions of this agreement.

By signing this agreement:
  • Both parties fully understand and agree to its terms and conditions
  • Both parties fully understand that this contract only refers to the design phase of the project. Any and all labor, materials and installation to complete the project it describes are not included.
  • Both parties may refuse to do the work the design describes for any reason whatsoever.
